miracle of mindfulness reading note
lesson one: the essential discipline
-two ways to wash dishes: wash to have clean dishes, wash to wash, --go the second way
-if we wash the first way, then the time spent on washing are completely wasted, which lead to --attend to your present moment.
-no mattern what position one's body is, the practitioner must be consious of that position.
lesson two: The miracle is to walk on earth
-mindfulness: keeping one's consciousness alive to the present reality

key is to gentally observe: no push or pull, dont try to get peace, dont focus on breath too strong; try do nothing: gentally focus on breath a bit, and peace should come to you.
-jogging is a light form of it.
-what it is about: relax, half-smile, let it go, let everything flow, attend to your present moment, purify through observation
-medically, it is a de-sensitization process (during which you re-live consciously or sub-consciously your past experience while relaxed to de-sensitize it), similar to immunization
-books: miracle of mindfulness, meditaion in plain English, the meditative mind, and many other good ones
